I fished the Eel Stream that runs alongside The Frome, here on the 6th July in the evening and caught 9 small wild brownies and 1 grayling. It is such a beautiful beat with a variety of challenges and opportunities to try your casting. Small flies recommended. Clive |

Cracking afternoon fishing the dry fly for the wild browns. Plenty of fish to be seen and plenty of mayfly for them to feed on. Highly recommended. Kieron |
I came to the fishery for the first time last Saturday, myself and a couple of friends have been doing this sort of fishing for quite a wile and this is by far the best we’ve been to. Superb fishery. We had loads of trout and Grayling. The best grayling went 2.2lb. I also had a salmon witch put up a hell of a fight!!! Lee |
Great days fishing on this beautiful river. brown trout and grayling on nymphs and mayflies. such great value too. this is a must visit river. I shall.be returning again instead of fishing in hampshire chalkstreams. thank again for a great day. Dom |
A wonderful day spent on the river, we enjoyed a stunning riverside hamper lovingly prepared by Charlie. It was full of home-made bread and pastries, which made the day an extra special one. We also caught plenty of wild Frome brown trout, best around 2lb. John |
